Unhinged Comedy’s Lineup:

Andrew Dorman:

“Andrew is 21 years young Dublin-based comedian who blends the past with frustration with the present in a style that is designed to stop history repeating itself! He recently was awarded second place at the Forbidden Fruit Comedy Talent Search 2016 and fully intends on having that be the first of many near successes in his comedic career.”

Robbie Bonham (@RBonhamCartoons):

Dublin comedian Robbie Bonham has been performing in Ireland, The UK and internationally for 12 years, bringing with him his somewhat skewed outlook on relationships, addiction issues, and the nature of existence (from a man baffled by all three). He makes his television debut this year in TV3’s documentary, The Stand Ups.

He is also a published writer, illustrator and cartoonist, which is nowhere near as successful as it sounds. He could really use your money. And maybe your couch? Just for a few days…

The Battle of the Axe roots itself in The Hoop Bar, Notting Hill Gate, London where Producer/Director and Founder Tony Ferns organised open mic shows for musicians in the early 1980s for 10 years.

Tony established the Battle of the Axe a few years after his return to Ireland in 1996 primarily for actors trying out monologues.

However soon Comedians and Singer/songwriters fell in love with the open mic theme of the Lucky Duck Award and Certificate with audience voting for the No 1 act on the night. And that was it  – The Battle of the Axe was fully born.
