“Described as “Ireland’s prince of alternative comedy” by meg.ie [and they should know], Conor O’Toole has been bringing his offbeat stylings to Dublin audiences for over six years. An Edinburgh Fringe favourite, his shows have garnered numerous four and five star reviews. Whether compressing the history of fonts into a light show for children, playing songs about dying professions on his trusty spring-on-a-stick, or eating half of a poisonious dosage of cloves, Conor attempts to entertain people in ways they haven’t been entertained before, and occasionally succeeds. He used to run cult comedy club The Death of Comedy, until the other guy who did all the boring admin work moved to Burundi.

In his new show, ‘Conor O’Toole: A Retrospective 1995-2015’ O’Toole looks back on his life’s work from the ages of four to twenty-four, as he feels stangnation creeping in. Is he past it, already? Will he ever do anything funny again? Can he dispel the ghosts of World War I?

Conor also makes short films and played the lead in ‘The Omega Male’, a short that screened at the 2014 Cannes film festival. He hosts the Firehouse Film Contest, Dublin’s only monthly short contest, and is working on a lo-fi nature documentary series called ‘Conor O’Toole’s World of the Animal Kingdom’.”

– Connor McDonough-Flynn (@ConMcFlynn)

Connor McDonough-Flynn’s been a comedian for 5+ years. Hes gigged all around Ireland and Internationally.

His comedy is bizarre, bold and (un)balanced – he’s an arguably debatable spectator tempter. Connor will have you laughing away as he deals with the debaucherous topics that present themselves daily. The stimulating humdrum thoughts that arouse bemusement. And the oddball anecdotes that evoke howls, from the mouths, on your face. There’s a means to his madcap manoeuvres.

He put on his first solo show (hour special): “I’m Not Special” at The Workman’s Club in Dublin on the 13th of March, 2015.

He’s since began touring:  “I’m Not Special” bringing 5-shows to the Galway Fringe Festival in July 2015.

Finalist in the – Finalist in the Forbidden Fruit Comedy Talent Search.
