Unhinged Comedy’s Lineup:
– Aidan Shields (@HershelOgrady):
“Supreme leader of Juicebox Comedy Club in Dundalk and probably one of the funniest men in his family. Finalist in Show Me the Funny 5 (2015) and also the proud owner of a Lucky Duck Award.
Aidan also runs the comedy at Vantastival Music Festival and has played at numerous venues across Ireland and is a frequent performer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. One to watch, his comedy career is finally starting to shadow his only other success as runner-up in Dundalk’s Bonny Baby competition in 1985.” Email: juiceboxcomedy@gmail.com
– Seamus Stackpoole (@Stackpoolefunny):
“Seamus Stackpoole, originally from the beautiful county of Limerick, came up to Dublin a couple of years ago to make my mark and find my fortune. Loving the city and everything it has to offer. So far I’ve been a burger flipper, a stockroom monkey, and a phone jockey, but I’ve always wanted to be a stand-up. I’m new enough to the comedy circuit but I am really loving it so far, the sound of an audience’s laughter is like fresh air for me, it’s even better when they’re laughing at my material, not someone else’s!”
– Padraig Williams (@p0dgey1):
“I’m old enough to know I know nothing now but young enough to still risk it all for nothing! We are all eejits in this life and if we weren’t we’d be doing it wrong! I just wanna make the world laugh.”
– Ashlee Bentley (@RandomlyAshlee):
Ashlee Bentley has been attempting comedy for 2 years now and there is no signs she’s quitting, much to the disappointment of family, friends and audience members everywhere. Come and watch her while she tries to make sense of her unfortunate life through even more unfortunate jokes.
– Ed Sammon (@edwinsammon):
“A regular performer on both the Irish comedy scene Ed Sammon was the winner of the “Tedfest” Comedy competition in 2011 and has had continued success ever since! He has performed at numerous festivals including Electric picnic and Forbidden Fruit. He is now an exciting up and comer on the comedy circuit having been a down and goer for a while. Edwin has played all of the major clubs in Dublin and around the country, becoming an audience favourite and friend to many beard-lovers. His slightly surreal and wacky semi-improvised high jinx’s have delighed and amused many a folk, he make you laugh long time, anyting you wa! This year he also featured on RTE’s New Comedy Awards.”
MC:
– Connor McDonough-Flynn (@ConMcFlynn)
Connor McDonough-Flynn’s been a comedian for 5-years. He‘s gigged all around Ireland and Internationally.
His comedy is bizarre, bold and (un)balanced – he’s an arguably debatable spectator tempter. Connor will have you laughing away as he deals with the debaucherous topics that present themselves daily. The stimulating humdrum thoughts that arouse bemusement. And the oddball anecdotes that evoke howls, from the mouths, on your face. There’s a means to his madcap manoeuvres.
He put on his first solo show (hour special): “I’m Not Special” at The Workman’s Club in Dublin on the 13th of March, 2015.
He’s since began touring: “I’m Not Special” bringing 5-shows to the Galway Fringe Festival in July 2015.
– Finalist in the – Finalist in the Forbidden Fruit Comedy Talent Search.
“…the man with the longest name/craziest eyes in comedy…” – Danny O’Hanlon
